The site aims to keep summaries, roles, and edition notes clear, but classic fiction has variant texts, translations, names, and interpretive traditions. Check primary texts or scholarly editions when a citation, classroom claim, or publication decision matters.
Images and references
Images are selected from public-domain or commercial-safe public collections when possible, with page notes explaining their role. If a credit or license looks wrong, treat that as a correction request rather than permission to reuse the image elsewhere.
